On the particular day that I had first entered into Blue Bird Bake Shop, I was browsing the selection and came across a brownie that had salted caramel in it. S A L T E D CARAMEL PEOPLE! I can't make that stuff up, but Blue Bird can. I had it and that was it! I was now slightly infatuated with the taste of the salted caramel inside of the cake like brownie. I had a tendency of craving the little delectable whenever the shop was closed for the day, but miraculously, Ms. Pam brought me a treat one day to church. It was a huge chunk of the salted caramel brownie.
Since that moment we have stayed connected as friends. I have been intrigued by her knowledge of baking, and her craft in baking and cooking. She now works temporarily for Blue Bird, full time baker for Downtown Credo, and starting up a composting business with a couple of friends called Fork to Spade.
Also a little treat for you. A music video from Jubal's Kin:
